Cobham RFC is dependant on the efforts of its volunteers to keep the Club functioning and developing.
We are currently looking for volunteers in the following key roles :-
Without additional funding its always going to be difficult to grow a well functioning club so a fundraising manager is a pivotal role to enable the Club to develop. You will be responsible for planning and organising fundraising activities - from raffles and the RFU Grand Draw to new and exciting fund raising initiatives.
Ideally you will be :-
Good at communicating
Enthusiastic and able to engage other volunteers to assist .
Able to collect the fundraising monies and pass along to the Treasurer with appropriate records
You will work closely with the Chairman and section heads to achieve the goals highlighted above .
Pitch side board salesperson
With our Club continuing to expand the role of Sponsorship manager has become to broad and so to maximise our revenue opportunities and to follow up properly on new leads we need a volunteer willing to promote and sell pitch side boards.
Ideally you will have :-
Good sales skills
Enjoy engaging with people
Enjoy talking to local shop owners and businesses
Work closely with the Chairman and the current sponsorship manager to make the most of opportunities
