Concussion in Youth Sports Presentation - 26 January 2025

Dear Member,

Concussion continues to be a concern for children, parents, coaches and all volunteers associated with rugby from the young age groups through to the oldest Vets. Whilst it is a consequence of rugby being a contact sport, I think it is important that all of the above participants have full information.

We are very lucky at Cobham RFC to have Dave Silver in our ranks and as you will see from his bio below he has real knowledge in this area. Dave has kindly agreed to do a presentation and answer questions from interested parties on Sunday 26th January from 11.30am.

I do hope that as many as possible will attend because we all have a duty of care towards both our children and us as adult players, and as highlighted above we are lucky to have Dave in our Club.

Kind regards

Steve Heard
