Friday 2 August saw 11 of the great and good from Cobham RFC and London Cornish RFC meet at the Boot and Flogger near Borough Market for a ‘relegation lunch’ following both clubs relegation last season.
Club Presidents Ian Thomas and Tony (Crash) Lander (LC) attended, as did our own Chairman Steve Heard and Head coach Billy Davidson together with Paul Hubbard representing Braemar Allstars.
The hospitality at this ancient hostelry was excellent and the company so convivial that there as general agreement that it should become an annual event in the calendar of both clubs.
